Dan & Amy Peront

Dan and Amy have been dedicated to advancing the Gospel in South Africa since 2018, focusing on the care of orphaned and vulnerable children. Inspired by the Biblical mandate of James 1:27, which calls for the care of those who cannot care for themselves, they have founded Lukiwe, a nonprofit organization committed to cultivating Gospel-centered, family-based care for children in need. Their mission reflects Ephesians 1:5 which states that we are all adopted by our Heavenly Father.

Beyond their primary mission, Dan and Amy bring diverse skills to their work. Dan’s background in the trades allows him to travel across the continent, assisting in the construction of churches in remote areas. Meanwhile, Amy, a skilled nurse, applies her medical expertise to support both children and mothers in their care. Each day presents a new opportunity for Dan and Amy to extend their outreach and share the Gospel within their community.
