Duane & Maddy Young

We are Duane, Maddy, and Nora Young -  and we are church planting missionaries in the Makuhari area of Chiba, Japan. 

We long to see Japan as a country transformed with the light of our savior Jesus Christ in a meaningful way. 

Our plan is to assist in planting a healthy, gospel-centered, doctrinally sound church that serves as a beacon of hope in a fallen world. We hope to faithfully shepherd the church and foster a sustainable, culturally relevant, Christ-centered community. 

With dependence on prayer and the Holy Spirit, we will strive to share the Gospel and bring in new believers. Through intentional discipleship, we will nurture believers as they deepen their faith and become active witnesses of Christ’s love. 

At the heart of our mission is sharing the Gospel boldly, compassionately, and visibly, inviting others into a life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ that saturates every aspect of their lives.
