Puerto Rico

Our vision is to see multiple healthy churches throughout Puerto Rico that live out the Great  Commission. Our role in this vision is to cultivate disciple makers through planting those healthy  churches. This calling was made clear in our lives when we were in our early 20s after taking missions  trips to the island. We arrived in Puerto Rico in 2015 and God allowed us to plant Vida Baptist Church (Iglesia Bautista Vida) in Añasco in 2016, which is growing and beginning to develop its own leadership. 

We have seven children Andrew, Zachary, Sara, Micah, Joshua, Jeremiah and Benjamin. Family is important to us as we seek to have a healthy home while we serve the people of the island.  

We have a passion for the Bible and place it as the basis for all things that we do in ministry and life. We  love to teach the Word whether it’s taking time to hear people’s stories and share with them the love of  Jesus for the first time or inviting them to take their next step in their walk with Him. We are always  looking for new ideas that make God and His word real to those around us and to help the church  function as a healthy body.  

In our free time we love playing games, trying new foods, playing video games and drinking lots of good  coffee. Most of the family usually has a book in their hand.

We are currently stateside for training and partnership development and plan to return to Puerto Rico in  the summer of 2024.
